At McCall Cabinetry & Millwork, we understand that you may have questions about our services, products, and processes. To help you get the information you need quickly and easily, we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us directly.
Lead times can vary by type and size of the project as well as the current workload. It’s best to plan on 8 to 12 weeks.
We can make cabinets out of any type of wood you desire. White and Red Oak, Cherry, Hickory, Walnut, Sapele, and Maple are all good options. All hardwoods are a full 3/4″ thickness and FAS grade. For painted cabinets, we use Maple.
We use soft-close hinges and drawer glides unless the customer specifies otherwise.
We use cabinet-grade plywoods with a solid core. Different veneers are available to match your selected wood. For painted cabinets, we use a Maple veneer. All veneers are A1 grade.
We use a local moving company located in Frederick, MD. Delivery is white glove, meaning the cabinets are brought into your location and placed where they go. The cabinets are wrapped and unwrapped in moving blankets by the movers.
Usually, a drawer box is made from 5/8″ hardwood with blind dovetail joints. As a cost-saving measure when needed, we will use Baltic Birch.
